Construction, which was completed in 4 months, consisted of 1,800 cubic yards of shallow concrete foundations and 7-1/4” & 11-1/4” tilt-wall, long-span steel joists, single ply TPO roof, automatic entrances, glazed storefronts, furred drywall and pegboard of interior faces of perimeter walls, acoustical ceilings, VCT, floor and wall tile, full wet-pipe fire protection system, plumbing, roof top HVAC units, and a 1200 A electrical service. Building consists of a 47,100 sf main sales floor, entry vestibule, employee lounge, instructional area, frame room, public restrooms, cash office, manager’s office, staging area, receiving area, truck dock ramp, and compactor pad. Vannoy also performed the grading work for the entire 35-acre site, allowing for seamless coordination of Developer’s Sitework with Hobby Lobby building construction.
